The slowest trim of the x-trail is also bad in the power delivery. Paired with a continually Variable Transmission which sends power to the wheels in a flow and takes over 11 seconds to reach 62 miles per hour sprint. It has a top speed of 112 miles per hour. At the same time, the manual gearbox is even better than the automatic 'box, and it is still not even close to the performance of twin-clutch transmission like VW's DSG.
