BMW 540d is coming soon this year with improved tech features
BMW spokesperson has announced the arrival of a new member to the
5-series family. The 540d will join X3 and X5 which are also diesel powered
models. Its sale is expected to start later this year. The automaker refrained
from spilling major details about this new vehicle and saved it till the
official release of the car.
Car and Driver claims that BMW spokesperson has just released an
official statement saying they will now launch a diesel variant of the new BMW 540d
Saloons for the market. But, the company did not unveil any other details
except for this confirmation.

The engine is highly expected to be similar to that of 530d in Europe.
It is going to be a 3.0-Litre turbodiesel inline-6 charged up giving

the 5-series 535d. the previous generation 5-series diesel came in both rear
